CEDAR CITY – A 5th District judge admonished a Cedar City woman from the stand Tuesday for her involvement in a kidnapping and assault incident, calling the facts of the case “frightening.” Judge Keith Barnes ordered Deanna Hanson to serve one to 15 years for aggravated kidnapping, a first-degree felony. CEDAR CITY – Questions about possible stolen jewelry arose Monday after St. George Police arrested a Cedar City man for several outstanding warrants. Justin Chris Quarenberg was picked up while allegedly trying to pawn several pieces of assorted jewelry, Cedar City Police Detective Sgt. David Evans said. Quarenberg was booked into the Washington County Purgatory Correctional Facility on a no-bail hold for the outstanding warrants.
