CEDAR CITY – Fire crews were called out again Monday night just hours after putting out a fire at a local storage unit facility. This time for a brush fire that could have easily burned out of control, authorities said. Cedar City Fire Department was dispatched at 11:35 p.m. to a fire behind J R’s Truck Stop, located at 2635 Freeway Drive. The fire burned around 1.3 acres. Storage unit fire under investigation

CEDAR CITY – Authorities are still investigating the cause of a fire that raged through the roof of a storage facility Monday damaging some of what was inside the units. Cedar City Fire Department responded around 4:15 p.m. to reports of a fire at Half-Price Storage located at 465 N. 800 West, next to Mammoth Trailer Park.
